Dr. Jack Lewright-
I grew up in Abilene and San Angelo, TX. My wife, Ginger, and I were high school sweethearts and have been married for 51 years, now. We have 3 wonderful children and 3 beautiful granddaughters. When I'm not working, I prefer to spend my time with my family and love being around my granddaughters. My favorite hobby is hunting and shooting sporting clays. As a believer in the importance of sharing one's abilities with others, I participate in international missionary trips to provide dental care in underserved countries such as Honduras and Peru.
I received my Bachelor of Science from Angelo State University and my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. Throughout my career, I have stayed committed to seeking further knowledge in the dental field and expanding my skills. Dentistry is an ever-changing field and I owe it to those that I care for to stay abreast of the latest techniques and technologies. For me, dentistry means the ability to help people; to give them care in a warm and safe environment, where they are respected as individuals and treated gently and compassionately. Through my years of experience in the field, I have witnessed the dental health of my patients improve, and have seen that commitment to oral health passed on to the second and third generations of their family.
I value the trust my patients place in me, knowing that I am dedicated to providing them with painless, effective and minimal treatments that offer maximum benefits. The friendships that have developed as a result of my time serving our community are rewarding and humbling.
Professional Memberships: American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry Fellow and Master, San Angelo Dental Society
Dr. Brent Lewright-
I grew up in San Angelo, TX. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have 3 beautiful daughters and a lab. When I'm not working, you'll find spending time with my family and friends or on the tennis courts. Other interests include fly fishing, hunting and shooting sporting clays. To me, being active in our community is a way to give back to an area that has given me so much, not only as a professional, but as a young man growing up here. I am on the San Angelo Young Life Committee, which is a Christian organization. My wife and I also help to host a College Young Life Bible Study group on a weekly basis.
I received my undergraduate degree from Angelo State University and was awarded my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry. Each year I participate in continuing education to expand my skills and knowledge through literature , our local dental society and attending conferences through the Texas Dental Association. I am eager to stay on the forefront of new technologies, materials and techniques in order to provide the best care for my patients.
To me, dentistry means the ability to change the way people feel about themselves. I am able to create a new smile for them, free from dental pain, and help them understand their oral health and its effect on their overall health.
I strive to deliver gentle, effective and timely care to each patient based on their unique dental needs. Whether I am improving a patient's self-confidence with cosmetic dentistry or restoring a patient's ability to eat what they wish by creating a fixed or removable appliance, I know I am making a difference in the life of someone I care about. This makes my days rewarding and I find great fulfillment in my chosen profession.
